Ministries defined

We are praying and seeking God for His direction for us while we are in the US.  We are in the process of forming our own 501 C 3, with the hopes of raising continued support not only for our family, but also for the various projects that God has placed on our hearts.  Some of these projects include:

1).  Providing clean water sources for communities around Nicaragua.  A 175 foot deep well can be drilled for $5,000.  Many people we know are dying of kidney failure due to the lack of clean water.  We are also looking into other options through various ministries to provide cost effective filtration systems.

2).  We are burdened to help the people of KM 54 community to put new roofs on their homes.  Many of these people live in homes made of metal and cardboard, and during the rainy season, they live and sleep with water in their homes.  A new metal roof installed on an average home is $700

3).  Also in the Km 54 community their is a need to help with food during the time when the seasonal sugar cane workers are not working.  We can provide food for a family of 4 for $100 per month.

These are just a few of the opportunities to get involved.  Feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.

The Farm

We recently have tried our hand in the farming industry.  We planted several types of vegetables, watermelons, and 536 banana trees in the hopes of :

A).  Providing food for several of the ministries we are connected with

B).  Provide jobs

C).  Provide an income source

We have also planted 100 citrus trees, orange, tangerine, lemon, avocado and mango, which should start producing fruit in 2 more years. We still have 400 banana trees living, and we will see a harvest from them in April or May of each year. It is our hope to make this an ongoing part of our ministry here, and that at some point it will be self supporting.
